Montréal, 1 JUIN 2010—  Urbanimmersive team is proud to announce the launch of the very latest AVU3D edition.     Sporting a brand new and improved look, this new release now allows the integration of slideshow and animations within the immersive visit itself.  

« This is now the first version of AVU3D able to support that many multimedia  platforms, therefore maximizing the full potential of the visual content we produce for our customers » says R&D VP Martin Lemire.   In truth, the new AVU3D version allows the user to either visualize a high definition animation, to appreciate the best looking pictures and 3D perspectives in a slideshow, or finally, to visit at his own pace the environment with the help of our immersive technology, unique to Urbanimmersive.
 
In addition to these multimedia add-ons, the immersive experience obtained by the new version has been highly refined thanks to the integration of many functions and innovations, notably :
 

-         the possibility to visualize the visits in full screen mode and high resolution;
-         flowing transitions between each images, eliminating the jagged effect of the previous version;
-          the possibility of preloading all images for a smoother navigation;
-          the possibility to use the mouse to drag-and-release in order to navigate with ease;
-         autodetection of the user's internet connection link to automatically set progressive images ;
-          manage and save a user's navigational preferences for future visits;
-          the option to hide or show the blue dots marking  the camera paths;
-          the option to hide or show the navigational arrows in order to appreciate the full quality of the pictures;
-          more visible « hotspots »
 
The new AVU3D web application version allows for a better description of a projet.  Any room in a project is now accessible through a simple click letting you jump directly there.   The direct jump to a room is accompanied by the name of that room and a short on-screen description.   « This will help the exchange of information, improve interactivity with the visitor and accent the project's potential » , says VP of Operations Martin Thibault.   The new version  also includes  a section dedicated to the identification of the vendor with a direct link to his web site and Email.
 
AVU3D now allows developers the possibility of hosting  a visit on their own web servers or web providers.  As opposed to the previous version, the application isn't limited anymore to Urbanimmersive's servers in order to operate. « This freedom opens up new horizons for the exportation and distribution of our technology » adds Martin Lemire.
